"I later went to his family house and was told by his dad that he had taken the kid to Onitsha.

"I arrived just to see him there with my girl, he requested full care of his little girl asserting that I had hitched another man and that he didn't need his youngster to live in another man's home.
"We consented to an arrangement that day and he guaranteed to select my girl in a decent school and furthermore deal with her.
"I was stunned when after a month I requested to see my girl and he revealed to me that he had enlisted her in a government funded school in Agege.
"I strongly took my girl away and we were welcomed again by the Mediation Center to settle our issues.
"It was while we were contending at the Mediation Center that my little girl opened up to one of the councilors that her dad had been attacking her sexually.
"We were alluded to the Isokoko Police Station where we were additionally alluded to the Mirabel Center where tests were completed and it was found that she had been sexually mishandled.
"My girl was taken away and set in the Little Saints Orphanage for six months."
Okonkwo is right now being remanded at the Kirikiri Maximum Prisons.
Equity Oluwatoyin Ipaye suspended the case until July 12 for continuation of trial and knowing about Okonkwo's safeguard application.
